Digital Sales & Business Development Specialist in Berkshire County

Salary:  $45k-$60k + Commission (est. $20k-$30k)


Our client is hiring a Digital Sales & Business Development Specialist that will be responsible for driving digital revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing sales strategies, and managing client relationships. This role requires expertise in digital advertising, strong business development skills, and the ability to cultivate long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, lead generation, and strategic business expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies – Create and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities – Research, prospect, and secure new clients through cold outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Expand Market Presence – Develop strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and revenue opportunities.
  • Manage Sales Pipeline – Track prospects, nurture leads, and close deals using CRM tools.


Business Development & Growth Strategies:

  • Market Analysis – Research industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging digital advertising technologies to identify growth opportunities.
  • Strategic Partnerships – Develop collaborations with agencies, brands, and key industry players to expand the business.
  • Product Development Input – Provide insights on client needs and market trends to help refine and enhance digital advertising solutions.
  • Lead Generation & Outreach – Design and execute targeted outreach campaigns to generate leads and convert them into long-term clients.


Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop & Maintain Strong Relationships – Foster long-term partnerships with clients by understanding their business needs and providing tailored digital solutions.
  • Conduct Client Meetings & Presentations – Present advertising solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service – Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and optimizing digital campaigns for better results.


Campaign Management & Optimization:

  • Oversee Digital Advertising Campaigns – Work with internal teams to design and implement effective campaigns.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimization – Track key metrics, analyze data, and refine strategies to improve results.


Reporting & Analysis:

  • Track Sales & Business Development Metrics – Regularly monitor sales figures, client acquisition rates, and revenue performance.
  • Prepare Business Reports – Deliver insights on revenue trends, client growth, and campaign success to management.


Collaboration & Team Leadership:

  • Work with Internal Teams – Collaborate with marketing, creative, and technical teams to develop compelling advertising solutions.
  • Mentor & Guide Junior Staff – Provide support and training to junior sales and business development professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in digital sales, business development, or media advertising.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, advertising solutions, and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to identify business opportunities and develop growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in media, advertising, or digital marketing industries.
  • Existing network of industry contacts and partners.
  • Familiarity with SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising, and social media marketing.


Working Conditions:
