Part-Time Payroll Tax Clerk Job Available in Pittsfield, MA.
Salary: $20.19/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9a-3p, 30 hours a week

TEC is recruiting for a part-time Payroll Tax Clerk for a Pittsfield payrolling company. This is a temp to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Weekly filing and payment of federal and state taxes
- Monthly reconciliation and filing of state taxes
- Quarterly tax processing
- Generate Quarterly Tax Packages for Clients - corresponds with clients about any holds, adjustments etc
- Complete filing for federal and state taxes
- Reconcile tax accounts
- Year End processing
- Generate Year End Tax Packages for clients - corresponds with clients about any holds, adjustments etc
- Complete filing for federal and state taxes
- Reconcile tax accounts
- Corresponds with federal, state, and local tax agencies on behalf of clients to resolve problems
- Assist with new client set up for tax accounts including research and resolution for tax specific requirements in states other than MA , NY and CT
- Researches and resolves client and system problems to ensure accurate tax returns.
- Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clients, agencies, and coworkers to promote a positive quality service image.
Requirements:
- Strong computer skills
- Experience working in an office environment
- Ability to solve simple math equations
