Temporary Accounting Clerk Job Available in Berkshire County
Position Type: Temporary - 4 week, Full-Time Position
Hours: M-F, 8:00A-4:30P
Salary: $20/hour
TEC is recruiting for a temporary role in the Finance Department at a local museum. This candidate will be helping the department by:
Tasks:
- Removing accounting files from file cabinets and placing in boxes for storage.
- Printing invoices, matching with accounts payable check stubs, and filing.
- Other miscellaneous filing (cash receipts, credit cards, accounts receivable batches). (This and above are the priority and bulk of the project.)
- Once filing is caught up and if time allows, other duties could include:
- Scanning or reviewing daily incoming A/P invoices and routing to appropriate managers for coding and approval.
- Stuffing current A/P checks for mailing (and matching and filing those).
Qualifications/Skills:
- Light accounting experience/background check
- Organization
- Confidentiality
