Assistant Branch Manager Job Available in Berkshire County, MA

Direct Hire Opportunity

Salary: $40-48K w/ Full benefits


TEC is recruiting for a highly respected local bank in the Berkshires.


Position Summary:

In this role as an Assistant Branch Manager, you will be responsible in assisting the Branch Manager in all branch operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Opens and closes the branch
  • Supervises vault operations and procedures, provide cash to and from tellers as needed
  • Maintains and stays updated on all branch policies and procedures
  • Processes customer transactions, backing up tellers as necessary
  • Complete account openings and maintenance
  • Process mortgage loan, consumer loan, and commercial loan applications
  • Handles customer issues and counsel’s customers with special requests
  • Assist branch in achieving performance objectives
  • Processes and balances cash advances, prepare wire transfers
  • Assist in balancing ATM’s
  • Coach and support branch staff to maximize performance goals


Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field, or 3-4 years of similar experience
  • Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures
  • Must handle yourself in a professional manner
