TEC is recruiting for a highly respected local bank in the Berkshires.
Position Summary:
In this role as an Assistant Branch Manager, you will be responsible in assisting the Branch Manager in all branch operations.
Responsibilities:
- Opens and closes the branch
- Supervises vault operations and procedures, provide cash to and from tellers as needed
- Maintains and stays updated on all branch policies and procedures
- Processes customer transactions, backing up tellers as necessary
- Complete account openings and maintenance
- Process mortgage loan, consumer loan, and commercial loan applications
- Handles customer issues and counsel’s customers with special requests
- Assist branch in achieving performance objectives
- Processes and balances cash advances, prepare wire transfers
- Assist in balancing ATM’s
- Coach and support branch staff to maximize performance goals
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field, or 3-4 years of similar experience
- Excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills
- Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures
- Must handle yourself in a professional manner
