Bookkeeper Temp to Hire Position Available in Berkshire, MA

Salary:  $22/hr - $25/hr

Hours:  Mon-Fri. 8:30a-5pm, tax season Saturdays 9a-3p at time and a half

Primary Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for clients 
• Assist clients in organizing data necessary for tax preparation
• Assist with non-tax related projects such as payroll tax filings and financial statement preparation
• Prepare all types of income tax returns with a primary focus on corporate and partnership returns
• Other trained tasks as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Business or prior experience
• Possess excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to manage your engagements and be deadline oriented
• Knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Office and computerized tax preparation software preferred
