CNC Machinist / NC Programmer Job Opportunity in Dalton MA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 6AM-4:30PM

Salary Range: $25-$28/hr

Essential Job Functions:

• Working knowledge of CAD modeling and translation to CAM system
• Provide manufacturing NC programs as required.
• Select tooling required to perform machining operations.
• Maintain tooling library,
• Set up and operate HAAS CNC Mill and Lathes, Bridgeport Machining center.
• Manufacture R&D parts and components for evaluation.
• Manufacture production units of Armor Systems product lines
• Develop methods and design manufacturing support fixtures as required.
• Trouble shoot and perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment

Required Experience:

• 5+ Years of manufacturing experience with CNC Mills and Lathes
• Broad range of mechanical component knowledge and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with machining centers for product development.
• Welding experience (desired)
• Working knowledge of Solid Works Software

Required Education:

• Candidate should have High School or technical school diploma, or Technical school certificate. Or equivalent experience.
