Our Lee-based client is seeking a Delivery & Appliance Installer to service commercial and residential customers in Berkshire County.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver, unbox, and install household appliances in customer homes or businesses.
• Visually inspect appliance and check for issues within appliances and fix said issues.
• Use service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and experience to diagnose difficult problems, using texting devices to check electrical systems for shorts or faulty connections. 
• Assist in connecting water and gas lines and use of common hand tools as well as soldering guns and brazing torches.
• Ensure all appliances are installed according to manufacturer specifications and local codes and test appliances to ensure proper functioning.
• Help train/educate customers on appliance operation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and the office team regarding scheduling, delays, or service issues.
• Handle tools and equipment responsibly and report any maintenance or safety issues.
• Collect customer signatures and confirm installation satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of appliances and their components highly preferred
• Knowledge of fundamental electricity, carpentry and/or plumbing is essential
• High School Diploma required
• Excellent customer interpersonal skills
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are a must
• CORI/security check, and drug testing prior to hire required
• Ability to lift, push, pull, load heavy appliance objects and tools into vehicles
• Formal training is available for the right candidate and will be required throughout employment
