Pay: $18-24/hour
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm
TEC is helping a local medical office find a Medical Biller.
Job Duties:
- Collect, post and manage patient account payments
- Submit claims to insurance
- Process payments from insurance companies
- File reviews and appeals with insurance companies
- Perform excellent customer service in person and over the phone
- Maintain strict confidentiality
Preferences/Requirements:
- Basic office skills required: data entry, good communication, excellent phone etiquette, time management, etc.
- Ability to work independently and take direction required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent customer service required
- Ability to be a great team member required
- At least 2 Years Medical Billing experience preferred
- Experience with insurance claims and CPT coding preferred
- Experience with billing of commercial insurances and Medicare and Medicaid preferred
