Position Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Pay: $18-24/hour
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm

TEC is helping a local medical office find a Medical Biller.

Job Duties:

• Collect, post and manage patient account payments
• Submit claims to insurance
• Process payments from insurance companies
• File reviews and appeals with insurance companies
• Perform excellent customer service in person and over the phone
• Maintain strict confidentiality

Preferences/Requirements:

• Basic office skills required: data entry, good communication, excellent phone etiquette, time management, etc.
• Ability to work independently and take direction required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service required
• Ability to be a great team member required
• At least 2 Years Medical Billing experience preferred
• Experience with insurance claims and CPT coding preferred
• Experience with billing of commercial insurances and Medicare and Medicaid preferred
