Medical Receptionist Job in Great Barrington, MA

Location: Great Barrington, MA
Pay: $18.75/hour+ depending on experience
Hours: 32-40 hours/week and hours vary 8am – 4pm



TEC is helping a local medical office find a reliable Medical Receptionist. This person will be in charge of a variety of receptionist and front office tasks to ensure a smooth office operation. 

Job Duties:

• Provide excellent customer service to patients in all mediums – in person, over the phone or emails
• Help customers with scheduling conflicts, rescheduling appointments, appointment reminders, and follow-up appointments
• Provide assistance to other offices with insurance verifications, follow-ups and more
• Position requires attention to detail, following all HIPAA guidelines, making sure that releases are properly signed, etc.
• Maintain strict confidentiality
• Other duties as assigned

Preferences/Requirements:

• Reliability and being able to work independently is required in this position
• Basic office skills required: data entry, good communication, excellent phone etiquette, time management, attention to detail, etc.
• Ability to work independently and take direction required 
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Excellent customer service required
• Ability to be a great team member required
• At least 2 Years Medical office experience preferred
• Experience with healthcare specific software systems
