Senior Solutions Architect - Job Opening South County

Salary: $60K-$80K

Location: South County

The role of the Senior Solutions Architect will lead the design, development, and maintenance of the

consumer and partner facing company systems and technologies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop technology integrations for consumer site on the Shopify platform and manage front end developer
• Maintain current version and lead long term roadmap of internally developed professional site, which features online ordering, marketing, and education materials
• Direct and lead the technical roadmap of data management capabilities, including integrating new data sources and elements to improve capabilities and organization’s ability to action on data
• Lead architecture and development to execute development roadmap
• Ensure existing data integration of key systems, including Shopify, Microsoft AX ERP, Professional Site, etc, and new systems integrations
• Ensure current Pro Site codebase is kept up to date and is functioning correctly
• Field requests from business users to engineer data solutions and upgrade capabilities of data warehouse
• Supervise frontend developers
• Regularly evaluate infrastructure needs to facilitate business growth
• Monitor data warehouse to ensure all data pipelines are flowing correctly and efficiently
• Maintain other web applications as needed

Education & Experience:

• College Degree preferred
• Experience overseeing design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex systems
• Excellent knowledge of PHP or similar language, SQL
• Experience managing ecommerce platforms, Shopify experience preferred but not required
• Solid understanding of data formats (JSON/XML/Yaml)
• Ability to read and understand technical/functional specs
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written & verbal communication
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
