Administrative Assistant – Law Firm, Direct Placement
Salary: $22/hr - $29/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am – 4:30, Full time or 30 hours for right candidate. Potentially some hours can be worked remotely.
TEC is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for a busy Pittsfield based law firm. Opportunity to grow legal administrative skills and be part of a dynamic team.
Job Description:
- Schedule meetings and answer phones for attorneys
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external clients
- Manage calendars and schedules regarding case planning
- Draft and transmit correspondence to clients and outside counsel
- Follow up on outstanding items/documents
- Assist with day-to-day operations such as filing, photocopying materials, etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous office experience
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated skills and is well versed in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or other position in a law office; or an experienced administrative assistant.
