Communications Coordinator / Administrative Assistant Job in Williamstown, MA

Job Type: Temporary, potential to go permanent for the right candidate

Schedule: Part-time, Mon – Fri 10a – 2p

Pay: $21/hour

Location: Williamstown


TEC is recruiting for a temporary Communications Coordinator/Admin Assistant to join a great organization in Williamstown. This candidate supports a whole department by helping with administrative duties, budgeting, project management, and more. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the development and administration of department budgets with the department manager by processing and tracking AP and AR, coding expense reports, and reconciling a variety of statements.
  • Provides general administrative support: assists with correspondence, mailings, other communications; schedules meetings, and more.
  • Monitors travel schedule and contact information for department staff; assists with travel arrangements as needed.
  • Manages the central office activities of the department, including overseeing office equipment, supplies, general communications inquiries, etc. 
  • Assists the office staff with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. 


Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree preferred, Associates degree in a related field required
  • 3 years + of related office work experience required
  • A general knowledge of accounting principles highly preferred
