Car Wash Attendant Job in Pittsfield, MA

TEC is helping a local Car Wash grow their team with multiple Car Wash Attendants. This position will keep vehicles, and the facility, looking their best. This is a hands-on, active role for someone dependable, physically capable, and ready to take pride in the day-to-day operations of a busy car wash site. Training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and willingness to jump in where needed is a must.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in properly loading their vehicles into the wash tunnel
• Guide customers through services and promote the monthly wash program
• Perform regular site maintenance: vacuum stations, lawn care, trash removal, and general upkeep
• Monitor equipment to ensure everything is running smoothly
• Restock cleaning products and supplies across the site
• Handle minor tasks involving equipment (e.g., change chains, basic tool work); assist with larger repairs when needed
• Conduct walk-throughs throughout your shift to maintain cleanliness and safety
• Count and record cash transactions accurately
• Twice a year: help clean out the tunnel pit (about four feet deep) as part of an “all hands on deck” team effort—expect some shoveling

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma preferred
• 1+ year of work experience in a role being on hands and feet all day highly preferred
• 1+ year of customer service experience highly preferred
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift and hold hoses
• Reliable, responsible and detail-oriented
• Physically capable of handling outdoor work in varying conditions
• Comfortable using basic tools and learning light mechanical processes to fix simple issues
• A clean background check and drug screen is required.
