Salary & Benefits: $45,000-$50,000 w/ Full Benefits (Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance, 401K Match, PTO, Sick Time, & Employee Discount)
Schedule: 40 Hours weekly, must be flexible and available on some weekends.
TEC Staffing is recruiting for a local hardware store in the Berkshires. If you have a managerial background and an excellent working knowledge of the hardware industry, then this position is for you. Our client is looking for an individual who is driven, passionate, motivated, and prides themselves on top notch customer service.
Position Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations. This includes increasing sales, reducing expenses, improving merchandising, and modeling excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent Customer Service, assisting customers as needed
- Over see daily opening & closing of the store
- Interviewing, hiring, training, performance reviews, disciplining employees, weekly schedules
- Lead and motivate the team of employees
- Be a problem solver, address customer issues and complaints
- Maintain Inventory
- Coordinate sales promotions, marketing, and special events
- Maintain a safe work environment & atmosphere
- Implement policies & procedures
Qualifications:
- High School or GED required
- B.S in Business Administration or similar preferred
- 3 years of Supervising Experience preferred
- Retail Management Experience preferred
- Hardware Store Experience Required
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, paint, and hardware
