TEC Staffing is recruiting for a local hardware store in the Berkshires. The right candidate will be knowledgeable about paint and related products, who strives to provide the best customer service.

Position Summary:

With your expertise of paint products, you will assist customers with there painting needs. Offering your guidance, knowledge, and expertise regarding there paint purchase. Strive to build relationships and network with both residential and commercial customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with building & growing relationships with homeowners & contractors regarding painting needs
• Greet, assist, and advise customers
• Use different equipment and machinery to mix and match paint
• Demonstrate product knowledge between paint, finishes, tools, adhesives, caulks, etc
• Monitor inventory
• Maintain correct pricing, and inform customers of sales & discounts
• Complete sale start to finish, operate cash register, update database, ensure proper order pick up

Qualifications:

• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Knowledge of paint and similar products
• Math & Computer skills
• Retail experience preferred
• POS system experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED
