Temp-To-Hire Maintenance Technician Job Pittsfield

Job type: Temp-To-Hire

Pay: $21/hour

Location: Pittsfield

Hours: Mon – Fri, 8-4:30


TEC is helping a local Property Management company recruit for a Maintenance Technician. This is a residential property with multiple units. The ideal candidate will be reliable, have industry knowledge and will have great customer service skills. Please note that once taken over, this job will require rotating on-call shifts.

Job duties: 

  • General maintenance repairs
  • Minor electrical & plumbing repairs
  • Daily trash removal
  • Cleaning, painting & turning over apartments
  • Snow removal and other landscaping duties to keep residents safe
  • Report any issues to the Director of Maintenance
  • Other duties that are necessary
  • Complete all tasks in a timely manner


Job requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years experience in a similar role 
  • Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Be able to work on-call shifts and be able to help with early morning work orders
  • Have the ability to pass a background check
