Senior Tax Accountant Job in Berkshire County
Location: Pittsfield, Great Barrington or North Adams
Pay: $60-80k, depending on experience
Hours: M-F 8:30-4:30 + overtime during tax season Feb – April

TEC is recruiting a Senior Tax Accountant to join a reputable Accounting firm here in the Berkshires. This candidate should have at least 3-5 years of experience in public accounting. Our client wants this person to grow with them!
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of business, individual, estate and fiduciary returns
- Tax planning and consulting for small businesses and high net worth individuals
- Direct client contact to assess and address their needs
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong independent working skills with the ability to initiate and follow up on projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Analytical, technical tax and accounting skills
- Experience with software used in a tax preparation practice including the digital tools used in a paperless office environment
- Ability to research complex accounting and tax issues
