Position Summary:

TEC Staffing Services is recruiting for a Structural Engineer. Our client performs design work throughout New England and New York. They service a wide range of industries such as industrial, educational, healthcare, and commercial and government clientele. The right candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented, and gets along well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with other structural engineers
• Mentor young structural engineers
• Collaborate with in-house and outside architects and engineers
• Conduct fieldwork, establish existing conditions, perform calculations, and produce designs
• Work on projects that are strictly structural, as well as multidiscipline projects
• Perform structural evaluations of existing buildings
• Stamp drawings for your work and others as directed
• Collaborate with draftspersons and designers to get designs on paper
• Construction administration tasks such as:
• Site visits
• Submittal review
• RFIs

Qualifications:

• Licensed Professional Civil or Structural Engineer
• 10 Years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of structural design software (RISA, Enercalc, AutoCAD, Revit)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office
