Temporary Concession Stand Worker - Gig
Starting April 1, 2024
Assignment length: April 1 – November 2024
Pay: $21 – 23/hour
Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 10:30am – 5:00pm
Location: Stockbridge, MA
The position is in a climate-controlled concession stand requiring the ability to multi-task and stand for long periods of time. This employee is solely responsible for opening and closing the stand and register, cash handling and balancing, prepping and cooking food, handle a high volume of customers, and more. The ability to work independently in this role is a must.
Job duties:
- Be able to prepare and serve hot foods and beverages through mediums such as convection ovens and other methods of cooking
- Operate and balance a register
- Be able to multi-task and think on their feet
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality to visitors
The ideal candidate would:
- Have some experience in cooking
- Be willing to take direction and follow procedures
- Thrive in a customer-focused environment
- Be able to adjust to both busy and slow periods
- Work independently
