TEC is recruiting for a Pittsfield company for a Warehouse Associate for a temp to hire position. Warehouse Associates provide full-scope of operational support for the distribution activities including but not limited to receiving, shipping order picking, order packing, returns processing, quality control, item put-away, inventory control and general workplace maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to operate a forklift and order picker equipment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Move materials from receiving to warehouse locations.
• Utilize inventory software to select orders for picking/packing.
• Recording movement of product in warehouse management system.
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure quality control of inventory.

Education, Experience, Skills:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Three plus months of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Must be more than comfortable on a computer and be able to navigate Microsoft Word applications such as Word and Excel.
• Ability to use and understand carrier and company computer shipping, receiving, and replenishment equipment utilizing inventory system.
• Knowledge of SAP software and Warehouse Management software a plus
• Must have attention to detail and be able to identify product and quantities accurately.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
