Warehouse Clerk, Temp to Hire Job in Berkshire County, MA
Title: Warehouse Clerk, Temp to Hire
Salary: $18-$22/hr (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Fri., 8a-4p
Objective:
The Warehouse Clerk supports the Shipping and Receiving Department on receiving, shipping, order picking, order packing, returns processing, quality control, and inventory control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift certified (preferred) or forklift trained
- Receive material orders and update system
- Move materials from receiving to primary locations.
- Load/unload trucks
- Utilize order selecting software to select orders for customers, pack and ship.
- Record movement of product in system
- Work with support staff on customer orders from order receipt to order shipping
- Excellent attention to detail
Education, Experience, Skills:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six months or more related experience working in a warehouse or a shipping/receiving role
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to use and understand carrier and company computer shipping, receiving, and replenishment equipment
- Knowledge of SAP software a plus
- Strong computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft office (excel)
- Must have attention to detail and be able to identify product and quantities accurately
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to seventy pounds
