Accounting Clerk/Office Assistant, Direct Placement Job in Berkshire County

Salary:  $24/hr plus benefits

Schedule:  Mon-Fri, 8:30a-5p


We are working with our automotive client to staff a full-time Accounting Clerk/Office Assistant position.  Candidates must be customer service oriented, able to work in a fast paced environment and have high attention to detail.


Job Responsibilities:

  • AP/AR processing
  • Online vehicle registration
  • Submit financial paperwork to lenders
  • Calculate trade payoffs and acquire titles
  • Audit deal paperwork in compliance with state and manufacturer requirements
  • Cross train with other office personnel 
  • Assist with answering the phone, cashier, filing and other general office duties


Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a CORI
  • Strong computer skills (knowledgeable in Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Great customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn new skills
