Bookkeeper Job Available in Pittsfield, MA
Job Type: Direct Hire Opportunity
Schedule: Mon- Fri, 30 hours weekly w/ work from home hybrid options available.
Salary: $40-$50K w/ Full Benefits
TEC Staffing Services is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join an incredible and highly respected law firm in the Berkshires.
Position Summary:
Our client seeks a Bookkeeper with strong accounting knowledge and has the capacity to understand and learn new finance programs pertinent to the operation of the law firm. You will play a critical role in the law firms business operations.
The preferred candidate will be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all bookkeeping functions
- Client billing and other accounts receivable functions
- Manage accounts payable
- Data entry (cash receipts and client costs)
- Data entry for the IOLTA trust accounting
- Processing credit card payments
- Payroll
- Maintaining 401K and worker’s comp information
- Provide financial reports
- Maintain accurate records of finance transactions and reconciling bank accounts
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Associate degree or two years’ experience in related field
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- QuickBooks
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Must present in a professional manner
