TEC Staffing Services is recruiting for an Engineering, Tech & Physics Teacher to join an incredible private school in the Berkshires.
 
Position Summary:

Our client seeks a full-time teacher in the areas of engineering, technology, and physics for the 2022-23 school year. The Department of Engineering & Technology Innovation is expanding its program and course offerings and is seeking an individual who can excel in delivering the current curriculum and bring their expertise to developing new courses. The department is committed to diversifying its staff in order to bring a wider range of ideas, experiences, and representation to our program.

The preferred candidate will have a solid foundation in engineering, computer programming, or robotics, while holding a basic understanding of the other areas. The candidate will also teach physics and support students to succeed in the study of STEM disciplines through interdisciplinary work. We desire a collaborative, inspiring, and innovative teacher who advocates for the students and mission of this school.

Requirements:

• At least two years of teaching experience at the high school or college level
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline or a related field; graduate degree preferred
• Willingness to participate in interdisciplinary and innovative curricular design and partnership
• Demonstrated interest in and commitment to working with students of varied academic levels and interests
• Demonstrated ability to integrate classroom technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and preparation for the future
• Commitment to participating actively in the growth of STEM education and to advocating for young, female-identifying, and gender-nonbinary students in these fields
• Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and to serving a diverse, global community
