Camp Kitchen Assistant Job Available in Becket, MA

Summer Opportunity

Schedule: Hours are flexible between 6AM – 7PM

Pay: $15-$17/HR

TEC is recruiting for a local camp in the Berkshires.

Position Summary:

As the Kitchen Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Food Service Department prepare meals for the campers and assist with general kitchen duties.

Responsibilities:

• Meal preparation
• Maintain cleanliness and meet health and sanitation requirements
• Maintain the Beverage Bar area
• Package and store food as necessary
• Assist with washing dishes as necessary
• Sweep and mop kitchen area as necessary
• Assist food department with other tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Must be comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, leaning, and walking
• Experience in food service industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
