Community Engagement Director Job Berkshire County, MA

Location: Berkshire County, MA


TEC is partnering with a local organization to help recruit for a qualified and passionate Community Engagement Director. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Community Engagement programs and initiatives, including CRA-eligible community allocations, the corporate sponsorship program, charitable and sponsorship events, financial education, and other initiatives.
  • Represent the organization in the community and maintain strategic relationships with community/nonprofit partners. 
  • Manage employee engagement through volunteerism and nonprofit event representation, brand ambassadorship, employee apparel program, and other internal initiatives. 
  • Manage internal and external communications around all Community Engagement efforts. 


Job Requirements:

  • Understand the needs of the Berkshires community and other communities that are involved with this organization.
  • Be comfortable working with colleagues at all levels of the organization; with nonprofit and community leaders; able to speak to small and large audiences.
  • Be outgoing and passionate.
  • Excel at follow-through; able to set and meet deadlines; self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, attention to accuracy, ability to work under pressure.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
  • 5 years’ banking, community development or nonprofit experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Have the ability and flexibility to travel to different locations.
