General Laborer for Autoclave Machine Gig, Long term temp (potential to go permanent for the right candidate)

Salary: $18-$20/hr

Hour: Mon – Thurs 7a-3:30p and Fri 8a-12p

Responsibilities include reviewing and adhering to instructions as you position parts manually or with machinery and basic hand tools. You’re expected to pay attention to detail, inspect final products for quality and overall ensure efficiency. Temporary long term position that could become permanent for the right candidate. 

• Possess basic computer skills
• Lay up materials for autoclave
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Assemble components by hand / tools
• Review products for quality and ensure they meet expectations
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Minimize waste be conserving materials and resources
• Ability to handle fragile materials
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with your supervisors and teammates.
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issue, malfunction, or defective parts

Qualifications

• Good dexterity/fine motor controls
• Experience with autoclave a plus
• Understand drawings
• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to pass a drug test/background check
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Comfortable sitting or standing for long periods of time
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Skilled in operating hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Respectfully take direction from supervisors, overall positive attitude
• Follow standard practices and procedures when directed
• Reliable and prompt in attendance
• Available to work overtime when needed
