Laborer/Industrial Spray Paint Prep Technician Job

Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate

Pay: $18-22/hour, depending on experience

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Hours:  Mon – Fri 7:30a – 4p

Our client is looking for a Laborer/Industrial Spray Paint Prep Technician to work in their refinishing business. This person must have experience in the industrial/automotive industry and be familiar with the painting process.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prep auto body/surfaces for the Spray Painter by sanding, masking, degreasing and seam sealing
• Perform body work using fiberglass, bondo and fillers
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Proficiency and knowledge in sanding, masking, degreasing and seam sealing
• Have the physical ability to lift/push/pull heavier weights
• Have the physical ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to follow instructions and help with other duties as assigned
• Ability to be reliable and work as a contributing team member
