Laborer/Industrial Spray Paint Prep & Spray Foam Technician Job

Job Type: Temporary (for a couple of months) or Temp to Perm for the right candidate

Pay: $18-22/hour, depending on experience

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Hours:  Mon – Fri 7:30a – 4p

Our client is looking for a Laborer/Industrial Spray Paint Prep & Spray Foam Technician to work in their refinishing business. This person must have experience/knowledge in the industrial/automotive industry and have experience/knowledge in the spray foam/insulation industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prep auto body/surfaces for the Spray Painter by sanding, masking, degreasing and seam sealing
• Perform body work using fiberglass, bondo and fillers
• Assisting spray foam tech by masking homes, scraping foam, cleaning, and assisting spray foam tech. before, while and after spraying
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• Proficiency and knowledge in sanding, masking, degreasing and seam sealing
• Proficiency and knowledge in spray foam/insulation processes
• Have the physical ability to lift/push/pull heavier weights
• Have the physical ability to stand for long hours
• Ability to follow instructions and help with other duties as assigned
• Ability to be reliable and work as a contributing team member
