Maintenance Technician Job Opening in Pittsfield, MA

Job Type:  Direct Hire

Location:  Pittsfield, MA

Salary:  $20-24/hour depending on experience

Schedule:  40 hour week, 8a – 4:30p & On-Call every other week

TEC is recruiting for a local apartment rental agency in need of Maintenance Technicians.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the properties that the company owns and manages. 
• The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining all property components including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, life safety, doors, windows, flooring, and roofing systems. 
• Our maintenance technicians interact continuously with our property managers, contractors, and tenants (both residential and commercial) on the properties to complete work orders, requiring excellent customer service.
• You will be assigned a company vehicle to use so a valid driver’s license is a must. 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Have at least 3 years experience in this field
• Be more than comfortable with any hand tools used on these jobs
• Be living within 20 minutes of the headquarters/whichever apartment complex is being reported to
• Be capable of running a job by itself at a site and knowing when to call for outside contract help
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
