Salary: $15-$17/HR

TEC Staffing is recruiting for a local hardware store in the Berkshires. The right candidate will be knowledgeable about multiple types of construction equipment, lawn, & garden, and hand power tools.

Position Summary:

Building relationships by providing expert advice on renting the right equipment for the job whether it be a contractor, commercial, or residential customer.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, discuss needs, and advice on the rental equipment
• Provide details on the rental, such as availability, operation, and description
• Accurately document rental reservations, contract, & return
• Provide customer service over the phone, email correspondences, etc. . 
• Maintain a safe and accurate work environment with rental equipment

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of construction equipment
• Positive attitude & outgoing personality
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous retail sales or specialist experience
• Experience with small engines preferred
• Contract Experience 
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Associates Degree Preferred
• Bi-Lingual is a plus
• Drivers License
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
