TEC Staffing is recruiting for a local hardware store in the Berkshires. The right candidate will be knowledgeable about multiple types of construction equipment, lawn, & garden, and hand power tools.
Position Summary:
Building relationships by providing expert advice on renting the right equipment for the job whether it be a contractor, commercial, or residential customer.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, discuss needs, and advice on the rental equipment
- Provide details on the rental, such as availability, operation, and description
- Accurately document rental reservations, contract, & return
- Provide customer service over the phone, email correspondences, etc. .
- Maintain a safe and accurate work environment with rental equipment
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of construction equipment
- Positive attitude & outgoing personality
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous retail sales or specialist experience
- Experience with small engines preferred
- Contract Experience
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associates Degree Preferred
- Bi-Lingual is a plus
- Drivers License
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
