Salary: $20/hr - $30/hr plus great benefits

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p. Full time or 32 hours

Temporary to cover a maternity leave starting in July

TEC is recruiting for a Paralegal or a Legal Assistant for a well-respected local law firm. Important abilities include strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail, excellent computer proficiency, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of lawyers and support professionals. 

Job Description: 

• Schedule meetings and assist with answering phones for attorneys
• Manage calendars and schedules regarding case planning
• Manage electronic discovery and document review
• Draft and transmit professional correspondence to clients and outside counsel
• Follow up on outstanding documents to ensure task completion
• Assist with closings and prepare closing statements
• Assist with day-to-day operations such as filing, photocopying materials, etc.

Minimum qualifications: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous office experience
• Demonstrated skills and is well versed in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Preferred qualifications: 

• Prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or other position in a law office; or an experienced high level administrative assistant or executive assistant.
