Catering Captain Job Available in Berkshire County, MA

Salary & Schedule: $35/HR Fri, Sat, Sun 12 Hour Days. Ideal schedule 11AM-11PM


TEC is recruiting for a Catering Captain for a local caterer for weddings and special events. Events are in Berkshire County and beyond. This is a summer position and is due to go from now through late October early November.


Position Summary:

As the Catering Captain you will be responsible for running the event for the team. This is an on-site role.


Responsibilities:

  • On site running events
  • Handling the roster of servers
  • Communicating event details to the team
  • Menu
  • Call sheet
  • Arrival time
  • Schedule of event
  • Any event details
  • Making sure excellent service is being provided and the event is running smoothly
  • Collaborate with team members


Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong Time Management skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to work as a team player, and be a leader
  • Previous experience in food and beverage environment preferred
  • Previous event planning experience preferred
