Manufacturing Line Helper Job Available in Lee, MA

Position Type:  Temporary – Hiring 4 Workers Immediately!

Start Date: March 6th

Assignment Length:  4 weeks/1 Month Assignment

Location:  Lee, MA

Pay:  $17/hour

Days: Monday - Thursday

Hours: 6am – 4:30pm

TEC is recruiting for 4 temporary Manufacturing Line Helpers to join a Lee-based company. This person will provide support to the Machine Operators and all other personnel on a particular production line.

Job Duties:

• Operate the following equipment and follow instructions: automatic and manual polywrapper, ovens, strappers, baggers, tapers, etc.
• Ensure the accuracy of work by understanding and complying to all work orders, item directories, process control forms, stated product requirements, etc.
• Assemble, mark and label cartons
• Verify all labeling information
• Print labels using labeling software following date coding system
• Consult the Machine Operator and/or Supervisor is work order information is inaccurate or cannot be followed as documented
• Halt production if product does not meet work order/item directory requirements and/or product quality is in question and consult with others
• Report production information on paper forms or electronically as requested
• Keep work area clean and safe
• Report any issues
• Make suggestions to make processes more efficient
• Follow all safety procedures and policies
• Other related duties

Requirements and Preferences:

• Ability to speak, write and read in English
• Ability to use basic math and units of measurements
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new ERP software
• Ability to pull, push and lift heavy weights if needed
• Team player mentality
• Dependable and reliable
• Must be able to complete and pass a background check,, physical and drug screen
• High School Diploma
• Experience with ISO Quality System preferred
• Experience working with non-wovens/flexible roll goods preferred
• Experience driving a forklift preferred
